Of all the things we cared about

I don't really give a damn

Well this looks familiar

And it’s….THE THREE MUSKETEERS

.

The dashing musketeers

It’s the three dashing swordsmen! Bravely fending off EVIL by, er…READING ALOUD a story of JUSTICE and HONOUR

My god, my shorts were so high.

Staycation!

My dad had a one night RITZ CARLTON hotel voucher, so it turned out into a staycation for the family. My entire family ended up cramming in one room, I think it would have been a better idea for the staycation to be for my mom and dad, so me and sis won’t end up as lightbulbs.

Anyway, it was so so. At first I was like “Wth this place is huge”, and had remarks like “this bathroom’s bigger than my room” and etc. At almost 400 bucks a night, it better be grand. And this is the kind of life the rich get. I haven’t been overseas for a proper holiday(that means staying at a hotel, not at grandparent’s kumpong, or some Sikkim hut) since I was a kid, so I was easily impressed.

The starting “WHOA” died down later though. Had a nice view of the NDP rehersal on the platform from the 20th floor, no pictures though, as it’s impossible to pry my dad’s DSL-R away from him, or my sis from her baby(camera).

I even brought my notes/book, in case I wanted to do stuff. Then I also brought my sister’s DS.  Ahahahahaha, wrong move.  Spent the entire time either outside, on the TV, or on the DS.  So much for 1 week to the end of the holidays. I hope the gar-ment decide to extend holidays. Another SAR’s like break would be fun, I can go catch the transformers instead of having to wait for the exams to end. =D

In the end, it just felt like a really really badly timed “siesta” from life. Sure, the place was good, I attacked the wine(even managed to survive a stout), but felt more like a mini-guilt trip in the end. Life sucks.

BUT I SURVIVED ONE FULL DAY WITH NO INTERNETS. WOOHOO.

Mac hates PC hates itself

And I think I know why now.

For MAC users, everything is so nicely packed into that single box. Don’t have to fool around with it or anything. Different story with PC’s. ANNOYING BOX OF BOLTS.  Plus, having a multistorey exhibition is never never never a good idea. Escalators and lifts became such pretty choke points, it was tempting to not be evil and go there and push someone down and watch some dominos. =D

So, any geeks reading this, and happen to have a 450W PSU, gimme a call, please? :(

Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for INSPIRATION and HARDWORK as well as ANY REMOTE INTEREST IN STUDIES to arrive from the skies in trumpet roars and knock me on the head.

So, until then, I’ll be stoning, over there.

tumble tumble tumble tumble

Somebody

Please help me start work? Anybody? Somebody?

Slightly over two weeks for IS and like, every frigging piece of work  since the start of the year. IT LOOKS COMPLETELY DOABLE =D

Alright, I’m starting to go crazy. And no, I don’t want to do your “super fast” project work survey.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled bullshit

Hokae’. All the cryptic posts behind, maybe it’s time to use proper sentences now.

So, interesting crap that’s been happening, or gonna happen;

1) Got sick for a frigging WEEK(ok, 4 days) on the last week of school this term. When one of those sick days includes an unexpected fullday, it sucks, really.

2)Got interested in reading again. Anyone got local readers to recommend? Kinda getting interested back in the local scene. “Shakespheare can wait” and “Heartlands” were good reads. I’m open to suggestions! The problem with local writing is, there needs to be enough Singaporeanness in the language to make it sound normal to us, but yet still strike off as well, the english language. I think it’s because of that, Singaporean authors never really break out into the international scene or anything.

3) Floorball outing @ Sentosa. Sucks to be late, but can’t help it, had lessons. Still, I swore I got completely man-handled in the water within like the first 30 minutes that I touched the water. The saltiness of inadvertantly drinking too much shit salt water has been stinging my mouth until now. Though, I admit, the experience was what I need to get me outta home.

4) BYS2009! Bare your sole tomorrow! Meeting up with the Ivanhoe OGL’s tomorrow. Bare footed 5.5km + not fully healed blister = pray pray not injured. Meeting up with the ogl’s again on Monday and maybe the OG next week. =D

5) Studying Tumblring. Although in a few weeks(or should be days), I’ll start to feel guilty about being so addicted to that site. But for now…I have no idea how much time has been spent randomly surfing around there. So much interesting stuff, so little time.

6) E3 (insert cheeky face)

-STOP-

Timecheck.

…life…work…life…work…reality?

…work…role…work…role…student?

…Aren’t  I supposed to have my attention somewhere else, but here?

There are moments which you wished were everlasting. There are moments which you wished merely last a moment. One of them was yesterday, the other was today.

Lets see what kind of moments would we create tomorrow, shall we?
